Founder/Director: Jacquie Sullivan

LifeNotes Edutainment Founder/Director Jacquie Sullivan began her singing career in the music industry after studying classical piano at University of Southern California. She sang, recorded and performed with Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Cat Stevens, Michael Bolton, Brian Ferry and Olivia Newton-John and on many radio and television commercials. She is active as a composer, arranger and producer and was a Professor at Citrus College teaching Pop Performance.

Inspired by her concern for the vulnerabilities of children and her belief in the ability of music to teach, Jacquie began writing and recording songs about safety, and the concept of LifeNotes Edutainment was born.

Business Development: Gordon Bennett

Gordon is the owner of Web Data Corporation, incorporated in February of 1998 to focus on developing rich, client-side web applications for business, education and government. Prior to Web Data Corporation, and before coming to the U.S. in 1978, he was in the music business as an entertainer, record producer and music publisher in England, where he and Jacquie Sullivan were a songwriting team.

In 1980 Gordon started a celebrity licensing business based in Los Angeles. Between 1980 and 1986, the licensing company represented many celebrities and music luminaries. Following that he started a mail-order business, which grew into a wholesale distribution company and was run with his wife for eleven years. A year after starting the mail-order business, Gordon raised capital with an idea and business plan to start a financing company for the interior design industry. When the internet started to take off, Gordon used his self-taught computer programming skills to create enterprise, online business and e-commerce sites.

Gordon has developed the strategic plan to make LifeNotes a national program for children, and will focus on the business development aspects of the enterprise.

He performed and recorded professionally for 24 years in bands with widely diverse styles and toured with jazz great, Oscar Brown Jr. He was an early adapter of computer use in recording and live performance, and has been the recording engineer and arranger for the LifeNotes project since 2006.

“As a charter member of Lifenotes, I maintain my enthusiasm for this unique approach to educating and entertaining children in the various life lessons covered by the program.”

Choreographer: Juanita Wilson Duquette

It's an honor to be part of a team whose purpose is to enrich the lives of children while helping to keep them safe and healthy. I have always believed the way to create peace in the world is to instill a value system with strong ethics and morals so people will have the inner strength and integrity to take action when they see injustices. To build character traits into people’s moral fiber so that injustice, bullying, negative predatory actions don't even take place. But how do you begin? Adult attitudes don't change easily - so to change bitterness and hatred to tolerance and love one would need to begin with the children - Enter LifeNotes! Songs and dances that help kids address difficult subjects - how to stand up for themselves, to share, respect all others and also learn important safety and health lessons. Yes, - a way to begin!

Juanita's thoughts on Life Notes Edutainment:
“LifeNotes songs are truly inspirational, and I am thrilled to be choreographing dances that will help kids learn life lessons, and build their self-esteem.”
